毎年恒例になりそうな「クリスマスに餅つき」
Mochi pounding on the Christmas Eve, which probably will become annual event.

昨日の24日（日）は、ALTの先生方のご希望で餅つきを私の実家でしました。
We had a Mochi pounding party yesterday.
お天気はこれ以上望めないくらい暖かく青空の晴れ渡る1日になりました。
The weather was perfect, which we couldn’t hope for any better. It was very sunny and warm under the blue sky.
沢山のクリスマスパーティーがある中で私の実家に来てくださりありがとう。Thank you for coming to my party among many other Christmas parties on the same day.
塾生やお母様達、私の友人が総勢30人近く集まりました。
About 30 people came all together.
クリスマスなので私はトナカイさんの格好をしてお友達にはサンタさんの帽子をかぶってもらいました。
I dressed up like a reindeer cause it was a Christmas.
人数に対して適当な餅米の量を買うのが難しく、買いすぎた感あり。9升ついてあごが出そうだったのでお持ち帰り用のお餅は沢山ありましたが、来年は6升でいいでしょう。
It was hard to decide how much mochi rice I should buy.
I bought 9 bags of mochi rice. It was too much. We became tired. So, from next year, I will buy 6 bags next year.
とにかく外国人も子供達も杵つきができて楽しんでもらって良かったです。
Anyway, I’m happy that all foreign people and kids enjoyed this mochi-pounding event.
お母様達や野間先生には毎年めちゃくちゃお世話になってます。かんた君は、虫博士になりそうな勢いですね。
また来年もよろしくお願いします。
All the mothers and Noma teacher, I owe awful a lot to you every year. By the way, your son seems to be an insects doctor in the future.
